SubRoc's and Wolfcry's stories were my favourites, and Chie's story was the most interesting, if twisted. hehe
Thank you. I'll quite readily (and maybe a little proudly) concede that
it's twisted. It was not what I intended to write years ago, but when
the central twist suggested itself my first thought was "aww, shit, I
can't do that." Followed immediately by "aww, shit, I have to do that."

I'm glad people enjoyed my adaptation. The version in the novel is good
as well, but has more context. For the most part, I took out the bits
that weren't needed for it to be a standalone tale.

For the missing section, I can basically remember what was said between
Wolfcry and Iksian. If there was more I don't remember (sorry), but
here's this part.
Wolfcry speaks up suddenly, his question coming out almost as a statement. "How long?"
Iksian: How long?
Wolfcry: How long have you been alive.
Thank you very much for posting these stories and hosting the event. I
was really pleased at the variety and quality of work displayed! Cen had
a fantastic time!
